Let’s Cook Terrific Tiramisu! 🍫☕️

This is what you will need for this recipe:

Ingredients 🧈🧂🥚

  • 325ml Strong Black Coffee (I Cup)

  • 1 Egg, separated

  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Caster Sugar

  • 125g Mascarpone/Cream Cheese (½ Cup)

  • 125ml Whipped Cream (½ Cup)

  • 8 Large Savoyardi Biscuits (Lady Fingers)

  • 1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder

Method 📖

  1. Boil the kettle, and place the coffee into a small bowl.

  2. Crack and check the egg in the small glass dish and then using your hand, scoop out the yolk.

  3. Place the yolk in a small bowl and the egg white in another bowl.

  4. Beat the egg yolk and sugar until thick and pale.

  5. Add the Mascarpone/Cream cheese to the egg yolk mixture and beat until combined.

  6. Whisk the cream and fold it into the cheese mixture.

  7. Whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold quickly and lightly into the cream mixture using a metal spoon, trying not to lose the volume.

  8. Add a small amount of the mixture to the bottom of your container.

  9. Dip half the biscuits, one at a time into the coffee mixture, drain off the excess and arrange in the base of the container. Spread half the cream mixture over the biscuits.

  10. Dip the remaining biscuits and repeat the layers.  Smooth the surface and dust liberally with cocoa powder using a sieve.

  11. Place in the fridge for about two hours until firm and allow the flavours to develop.

A creamy delicious sweet treat to have after your meal!
